if there’s some point in finding out
the truth of things that others doubt
so friends together seek them both
to write one down , the other own

or be so owned by the breath than breathes us
the facts which guide to the One that frees us as
compassion's love to nibbana betroths
the wisdom of age to the passions of youth
unwritten in tea leaves or espresso’s froth
samadhi bestowing this clear ring of truth
